Carei is a small Romanian town near Hungarian border, less then 25,000 people live there and it’s at 600km from the capital of Romania, Bucharest.
The best season to visit is spring or summer but definitely you should visit Carei in August, specially on last weekend (the end) of August during Carei City Days.
Most of tourists come from Germany, Hungary and Austria .
Carei is a mixed nationalities town, most of the citizens are Hungarian, after it the Romanian and there is also a minority of Germans that many of them left the city after the revolution in 1989.
